IN THIS SECTION THERE ARE TWO WORKS BY ISKRIN |
1. The Dialectics of Sexes. This book is an attempt to create a conception of sexes from the perspective of history and philosophy. Using simple and understandable language the author analyzes the causes of the appearance of sexes in the course of evolution, the functions of both of the sexes in the process of reproduction, and the historical prospect of disappearance of the sexes. The book explores the factors that influence the sex of the future child, and the perspectives of marriage and family. The author offers well-grounded solutions of the phenomenal sex ratios (the excessive birth of boys during wars, the decrease in the number of girls among the children of unhealthy men, the higher probability of birth of a daughter to women who have experienced stress before and during pregnancy, etc.). The book will be interesting for biologists, medical doctors, psychologists, teachers, and everyone who is interested in the issues of the sexes. |

2. Catastrophic Sex Ratio. An article, in which from the perspective of the Theory of Sexes the author finds a link between an abundant crop of rowan in autumn and a severe winter to come. |
